Unofficially, home sales in Davis County Utah were up by almost 17% compared with March of last year. Compared with February, which was a pretty dismal month for home sales, they were up by 41%. Of the 284 residential homes in Davis County Utah that were reported sold on the MLS, the average sales price was $214,844. This is 10% less than March 2009’s average sales price of $239,050.
Davis County Real Estate has also seen an increase in the number of homes that have gone under contract, and that are currently listed. Right now there are 2,240 active residential homes for sale in Davis County Utah. This is up from last month, but based on March’s sales numbers drops the inventory level to 7.88 months of active inventory. 523 residential homes are currently under contract. This indicates that April and May should be good months for future home sales.
